Oura Ring 4 Smart Ring – Gold – Size 7
The Oura Ring 4 Smart Ring in Gold, Size 7 is a titanium wearable designed for continuous health tracking in a ring format. It works with iOS and Android devices through the Oura App and uses Bluetooth connectivity. The listing positions Smart Sensing as the central platform, adapting measurements to the wearer while tracking sleep, readiness, activity, stress, heart health, metabolic health, and women’s health metrics.
Overview
This Metallic Gold, Size 7 version of the Oura Ring 4 has a round, slip-on titanium design with no display. Oura describes the ring as an all-titanium update intended to monitor biometrics quietly throughout the day and night. Listed dimensions are 1.1 x 1.1 x 0.28 inches, and the listed item weight is 0.18 kg.
The ring is compatible with smartphones running iOS or Android. Its listed feature set includes activity tracking, cycle tracking, daily workout memory, body-temperature measurement, menstrual-cycle tracking, sleep-duration tracking, and stress monitoring. GPS functionality is listed as operating through a smartphone rather than being built into the ring itself.
Key Features
Smart Sensing is the featured sensing platform for Oura Ring 4. According to the listing, it adapts to the user and provides continuous data across more than 50 health metrics. The named areas include sleep, activity, readiness, heart health, stress, metabolic health, and women’s health.
The ring connects through Bluetooth and is managed in the Oura App. It supports multi-ring use, allowing owners of more than one Oura Ring 4 style to switch between finishes in the app. Available Oura Ring 4 variations shown in the listing include metallic and ceramic styles, with multiple color and size options.
Included items are the Oura Ring 4, an Oura Ring 4 charger, a USB cable, an information booklet, and a quick-start guide. The listing also states that the ring is HSA/FSA eligible.

Real-World Performance
Oura states that the Ring 4 can monitor health continuously, day and night, and cites battery life ranging from 5 to 8 days. The product details separately list an average battery life of 5 days and an 80-minute charge time. These figures indicate that battery duration may depend on use and conditions.
Customer feedback summarized in the listing is strongest around the ring-like appearance and sleep analysis. Sleep tracking is a frequently discussed topic, with many customers highlighting the analysis features, though some reports say sleep tracking later stopped working.
Feedback on battery life, reliability, and accuracy is mixed. Some customers report dependable operation, useful data, quick charging, and strong heart-rate or sleep results. Others describe shorter-than-expected battery duration, connection or tracking issues, inconsistent heart-rate readings, and inaccurate step tracking. Durability feedback is also mixed, with reports of scratching or failures alongside reports of trouble-free use.
Ease of Use and Maintenance
The Oura Ring 4 is designed as a screen-free, vibration-free wearable, so information is accessed through the Oura App rather than on the ring itself. This may suit users who prefer a less conspicuous tracker, but it also means reviewing measurements, trends, and membership-linked insights requires the companion app.
Sizing deserves attention before ordering. Oura states that Ring 4 sizing differs from standard jewelry-ring sizing and recommends using the Oura Ring 4 Sizing Kit to identify the correct fit. This listing is specifically for Gold in Size 7.
Routine upkeep centers on charging the ring with the included charger and keeping the Bluetooth connection active with a compatible phone. The product details list water resistance at 100 meters, while another listing field shows a predicted IPX4 waterproof rating. Because those entries differ, users should consult Oura’s current guidance for water exposure and care.
Pros and Trade-Offs
Notable strengths in the listing are the titanium construction, display-free ring form, iOS and Android compatibility, Bluetooth connection, smartphone-based GPS geotagging, and broad set of health categories. Smart Sensing and the ability to switch between multiple Ring 4 finishes through the app add to the product’s flexibility.
The main trade-offs relate to setup and expectations. Correct sizing requires Oura’s separate sizing approach, and the app is necessary for viewing data. Oura says the membership’s first month is included for new members and that membership is tied to the user’s account in the Oura App rather than to the physical ring.
Prospective users should also account for the mixed customer feedback on battery endurance, reliability, measurement consistency, and long-term durability. The listing includes a one-year manufacturer warranty, which may be relevant when considering those reports.
Who This Product Is For
The Oura Ring 4 is aimed at adults who want a low-profile wearable for ongoing sleep, activity, stress, heart-health, body-temperature, and cycle-related tracking. Its ring form and absence of a display may appeal to people who do not want a screen on their wrist.
It is particularly relevant for users who are comfortable reviewing health information in a phone app and who want Android or iOS compatibility. It may also fit users interested in owning multiple Oura Ring 4 finishes and switching among them in the app.
People focused on highly consistent battery performance, durability, or measurement results should weigh the mixed customer feedback and verify fit with the Oura Ring 4 Sizing Kit before selecting a size.
