The Cosjoype Kids Smart Watch is a touchscreen wearable for children aged 5–12 that combines games, media playback, basic activity tracking, and simple utility tools. It works without connecting to a phone or downloading an app, and the selected version is pink.

Overview

This rectangular kids smartwatch has a 1.54-inch color touchscreen, an aluminum case, a silicone band, and a tang buckle. It includes a camera, video recording, MP3 playback, voice recording, a pedometer, flashlight, alarm, stopwatch, calculator, habit tracking, parental controls, and screen customization options.

The watch does not have GPS and is not water resistant. It has 512 MB of storage and transfers music from a PC through USB; music files need to be in MP3 format and placed in the “My Music” folder.

Key Features

Entertainment and learning features include 39 games, 10 audio stories, and 100 learning cards. The learning cards are presented as a way to support knowledge and cognitive development, while the stories are intended to encourage imagination and language development.

The 300,000-pixel camera supports photos and video, including sticker-based photo effects. Step count is the listed tracked metric. Additional settings include silent mode, time format, volume, themes, and screensaver selection.

The package includes the watch, an installed SD card, a USB Type-C cable, two screen protectors, instructions, a reset tool, and a gift box.

Real-World Performance

Cosjoype states that the 500 mAh rechargeable battery can last more than seven days on a full charge. The listed full charging time is approximately two hours, although actual runtime can vary with use.

Customer feedback indicates that many children enjoy the watch’s games, music capability, camera, and step tracking. Feedback on reliability is less consistent: multiple customers report units that stopped working or would not charge after a short period, while others report that the watch worked well for their children.

Ease of Use and Maintenance

The watch is designed for standalone use, with functions built into the device rather than requiring a phone connection or app download. Its touchscreen interface is intended to be simple for children to operate.

Before first use, the manufacturer recommends fully charging the watch. It advises using a 5–12 W charger rather than a high-power charger. If the watch does not power on, the instructions call for holding the reset button for more than five seconds, then charging it for 15 minutes. Keep the watch away from water because it is not water resistant.

Pros and Trade-Offs

Pros include a broad set of child-focused functions in one device: 39 games, camera and video recording, music playback, audio stories, learning cards, habit tracking, and practical tools such as an alarm and flashlight. The included screen protectors and multiple available color options add flexibility.

The main trade-offs are the lack of GPS and water resistance. Music loading requires access to a PC and MP3 files. Customer reports also raise a reliability consideration, as some users experienced charging or power issues.

Who This Product Is For

This watch is suited to children aged 5–12 who want a standalone touchscreen watch for games, photos, music, learning activities, and simple daily tools. It may also suit families looking for a device with parental controls, silent mode, and habit tracking.

It is not designed for location tracking or water-based activities. Families that need GPS functionality or a water-resistant wearable should consider those requirements before choosing this model.
